Privacy notice
Last updated 10 October 2026. Limenly is in a pilot phase, so this is a short notice. A fuller policy will follow.
Who we are
Limenly is an online check-in service for hotels. You can reach us at hello@limenly.app.
This website
This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no advertising trackers, and it loads no fonts or scripts from other companies. Like any server, ours records ordinary technical details of a visit, such as the IP address and the time of the request. We use them only for security and troubleshooting.
If you write to us
When you email hello@limenly.app, for example to request a free pilot, we use what you send only to reply and to run the pilot. We don't add you to a mailing list without asking.
The check-in service
Hotels use Limenly to collect check-in details from their guests before arrival. This can include a guest's name, contact details, arrival information, ID document details and a signature. The hotel decides what to ask for and why. For this guest data the hotel is the one responsible, and Limenly handles it on the hotel's behalf. Every hotel signs a data processing agreement with us before using Limenly with real guests.
If you are a guest, your hotel is your first contact for questions about your details. You can also write to us and we will pass your request to the hotel.
Where the data is kept, and who helps us
- Data is stored on servers in Germany, run by our hosting provider Hetzner.
- Check-in emails are sent through our email provider Resend.
We don't sell guest data and we don't use it for advertising.
How we protect it
- All connections are encrypted.
- ID details are encrypted before they are stored.
- Each hotel can only see its own guests.
- The database is backed up every night.
How long we keep it
Retention periods are agreed with each hotel. A hotel can ask us to delete its data at any time.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, and you can object to how it is used. If you are not happy with how we handled a request, you can complain to your national data protection authority. In Bulgaria that is the Commission for Personal Data Protection.
